Been awhile since I’ve posted a Five For Friday writing prompt. Here’s a new five words to get your creative juices flowing. Extra chocolaty brownie points if you can use them all in one sentence.

“Five words. Your story.”

I haven’t done one of these Five For Friday word prompts in awhile, figured it was high time I threw one up on the WWW and see if it sticks.

I’ve also updated the Writing Prompt page to include all of the past Five For Friday posts.

As per my Five For Friday motto, you can use these five words in any shape, form, or fashion you need to in order to craft your fabulous story, or poem.

If you get anything out of this prompt, I only ask two things:

  1. Come back to my blog here and leave me a link (if you post your creation to your own site) so I can read/comment on your work, and;
  2. Share the blogging love. Feel free to help other authors in need of inspiration by telling them about my prompts. πŸ™‚

Five words...your story.

Five For Friday, along with my photo writing prompts, have been on a little vacation. Things are heating up for me in the academic area of my life, but I’m going to try and keep these prompts flowing on a more regular basis.

This weeks words are from the final book in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians saga “The Last Olympian,” by Rick Riordan.

Use these words however you likeβ€”it’s your story.

Five For Friday #8β€”10/14/2011

Five words. Your story.

This week the words were randomly selected from a book I’m reading: The Lightning Thief, by Rick Riordan. Use them any way you see fit, as inspiration or as part of your masterpiece. It’s your story. Let me know if these words get you off creatively and you post your piece online. I’d love to read it! πŸ™‚
